Beautiful brass telescope in leather frame with strap for carrying. 6 element telescope. Maximum length when unfolded 43 cm. Trimmed with genuine red leather. Replica of a British nautical telescope from 1917 - 1920. Embossed logo of the Kelvin Hughes Company, London 1920 on the leather, and floral ornamentation on one of the metal parts of the telescope. On the sleeve, the inscription Marine telescope and a graphic showing how the telescope works. On the last sleeve, nearest the eye, an inscription: Dollond London 1920, serial number o7134.
